PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a drop in strength as much as possible without changing an external shape of a container to shorten a molding cycle and reduce a molding cost by providing a recessed thickness cut in a height direction of the container from a bottom rear of the container on at least one or more corners among four corners where side walls intersect. SOLUTION: Since the foaming synthetic resin container is equipped with corner roundness at corners where side walls intersect due to strength, a thickness of a corner where the side walls of the container intersect is larger than that of the side wall, taking more time in cooling at the time of molding. In order to reduce a drop in required strength as much as possible without changing an external size of the container being a box-shaped mold, a recessed thickness cut 8 is provided from a bottom rear 10 of the container in a height direction of the container. Thus cooling time of the corner can be largely shortened, improving efficiency in a molding cycle. The recessed thickness cut 8 is preferably of 95% or less height of container height, while foaming polystyrene particles are preferable as foaming synthetic resin particles to be used. |
