PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact pressure controller for a sheet winding device, which is capable of easily and accurately correct the output of an actuator following touch-roller replacing within a short time. SOLUTION: A contact pressure controller for a sheet winding device comprises a tilt angle detecting means 5 for detecting the tilt angle 6 of a support arm 2 for supporting a touch-roller 1 each time, a tilting time counting device 15 for receiving the detecting signal of the tilt angle detecting means 5 and counting a time T necessary for tilting the support arm 2 by a specified angle, a required contact pressure setting means 6 for setting a required contact pressure Fr between the touch-roller 1 and a winding roll R and a control means 13 for controlling an actuator 3 based on the detected valueθby the tilt angle detecting means 5, the counted value T by the tilting time counting device 15 and the set value by the required contact pressure setting means 6 such that a contact pressure between the touch-roller 1 and the winding roll R is equal to the set required contact pressure Fr.
