<p>An offset lithographic printing system which includes an image bearing medium, forming part of the printing cylinder, liquid ejection means for forming an printing image in a pre-determined pattern directly on to an image bearing medium, means for printing the formed image onto a substrate in a conventional offset printing process, and a liquid ejection means connected to a source of erasing fluid. The liquid ejection means eject droplets of the erasing fluid on to the image bearing medium to release the pre-determined pattern, thereby allowing a subsequent image to be formed on to the image bearing medium. <IMAGE></p> |
