PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bipolar type treatment appliance for electric surgery which eliminates thermal damages, cut residues and the like of a tissue of a living body by facilitating the control of an area ratio of conducting parts between first and second electrodes. SOLUTION: This treatment appliance for electric surgery has a catheter tube 16 insertable in vivo, a snare shaped first electrode 24 mounted so as to be freely movable in the advancing or retraction from a distal end of the catheter tube 16 and a second electrode 34 fixed at the far end of the catheter tube 16. A far end face 18a of a tip body 18 as second electrode 34 contains a plane or a tangential line acute to the axis of the catheter tube 16. |
