摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pedal bracket structure for an automobile that can avoid interference with a steering member due to backward movement of a pedal bracket at the time of a head-on collision of the automobile. SOLUTION: A pedal bracket 4 is formed being divided in a front bracket 4A and a rear bracket 4B, and the front bracket 4A is connected in a backward slidable state to the rear bracket 4B. Accordingly, even in case of the front bracket 4A moving backward in association with the deformation of a dashboard lower panel 13 onto the cabin side due to a head-on collision of a vehicle, the front bracket 4A only slides backward in relation to the rear bracket 4B, and backward movement of the rear bracket 4B is suppressed so as to be able to avoid interference with a steering member 16 disposed in an upper position near the rear end part of the rear bracket 4B.
