PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a fuel pump by inhibiting the leakage of the oil in a force feed process in a fuel pump. SOLUTION: A fuel pump 1 comprises a diaphragm which is deflected by the flow of the oil in accompany with the reciprocation of a main piston 7, and a fuel pressure chamber 10 partitioned by the diaphragm 1. In this occasion, a replenishment oil passage 4 for supplying the oil to a hydraulic chamber 8, a check valve 9 which is opened to the oil flowed from the replenishment oil passage 4 to the hydraulic chamber 8, and a sub-piston 5 for force feeding the oil to the replenishment oil passage 4, are installed. |
