PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the air dissolved in ink and air bubbles accumulated at an ink feed path and improve print quality, by setting a pipe of a film through which a gas penetrates to a path filled with ink at an ink feed part of an ink-jet printer. SOLUTION: A cartridge is constituted of a housing 14. The housing 14 is generally formed of a light-weight and durable plastic, with having a chamber 16 to store ink at a first absorbing material, e.g. polyester felt through which a needle penetrates. The chamber is completely tightly sealed except a path for ink to a sealed printer head nozzle and an exhaust port 18. The exhaust port 18 penetrates a floor 20 of the chamber and is opened to the outside through a terminal end 19. A dent or hollow 28 is formed at the floor of the chamber, which has an opening part connected to a connection path 36 or an output port 30. |
