THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a thermoplastic elastomer having sufficient sealability at high temperatures and having especially permanent compression set resistance. SOLUTION: This elastomer is obtained from a composition comprising 100 phr of a fluorinated thermoplastic elastomer having a block structure composed of at least one elastic fluorinated polymer segment and at least one plastomeric fluorinated polymer segment and 0.1-40 phr of a crosslinking agent which can effect the peroxy crosslinking of the fluoroelastomer. This is then irradiated withγ-rays in a dose of 1-50 Mrad or withβ-rays in a dose of 10-500 kGy.
