PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bundled steel cord suitable for a rubber composite capable of reducing the friction loss and improving the durability by waving plural steel wires in at least a different pitch phase, arranging the plural wires side by side in the same plane, wrapping a wrapping wire around the prepared steel wires and bundling the steel wires. SOLUTION: This bundled steel cord is obtained by waving steel wires 1a to 1c in a cross-sectional flat shape such as an ellipse or an oval directed to the cord major axial direction X or the cord minor axial direction Z into a wavy form or a spiral form in at least a different pitch phase, arranging the steel wires side by side in the same plane without laying thereof and then wrapping a wrapping wire 2 having the carbon content c2 wt.% within the range of 0.05<=c1-c2<=0.40 based on the carbon content c1 wt.% of the steel wires 1a to 1c and a cross-sectional flat shape such as the ellipse or the oval around the whole steel wires 1a to 1c. The bundled steel cord is embedded parallel to a rubber in a tire belt part to produce a tire. |
