The construction has a top floor layer (5) with a thickness of 22-30 mm, screwed onto the upper flange (6) of a support beam (4) with an I-shaped cross-section. The beams have a laminate structure obtained by bonding together panels with a thickness of 2-5 mm to give an overall thickness of 40-55 mm and central distance of 600 mm. Beam height is 250-300 mm. Holes are provided at the 100 x 600 mm position to ventilate the pockets of air in between adjacent beams. The lower flanges (7) of the beams are joined together by wooden bolts (9) measuring 22 x 120 mm and having a central distance of 300 mm. The ceiling section is mounted on the underside of the lower beam flanges using elastic damping profiles (3) that receive wooden bolts measuring 45 x 34 mm, which act as an underlay for plasterboard panels.
