The safety valve has an orifice (6) with a shutter (4) which opens in set temperature and pressure conditions. The valve has an outlet for the expelled gases, equipped with a mixer (12, 14) for the gases and the ambient air. The safety valve, e.g. for a tank containing an inflammable fluid such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), consists of a housing (2) with an orifice (6) and spring-loaded shutter (4) at one end and an outlet at the other with a mixer (12, 14) for the expelled gas and ambient air. The mixer comprises at least one injector (12) associated with a Venturi tube (14) or, in a variant, an annular injector designed to create a mixture by the Coanda effect. |
