The invention concerns a device for making egg cups from egg packaging containers. The use of egg cups poses the problem of storage and above all of cleaning for re-use. Indeed once the egg has been eaten, the yolk drips in the cup are not easily cleaned and it is therefore more practical to use disposable egg cups. The aim of the invention is to provide for the user a disposable egg cup without having to buy or keep one, since in this method, the egg cup is supplied by the package itself. This invention therefore concerns food packaging design and manufacture and is applicable to any type of egg box, whether it is made of moulded fibre, plastic or any other material. The system consists in using the package whereof all the cells (or optionally only some cells) are detachable and enable to produce an egg cup in the following manner: each detachable cell comprises on its external base a fixing system for being assembled to the another cell external base. In a first step, the two cells must be detached, then, in a second step they are assembled by their external bases, thereby resulting in a stable and raised egg cup which can be placed on the table and which can receive the cooked egg without having to hold it. |
