PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability for users by eliminating the need to respectively separately learn an operating method by converting information sent by teletext broadcasting to information which can be read through a browser for internet. SOLUTION: Signals of the data for teletext broadcasting fetched as video signals are separated by a waveform equalized character signal separation 208. At an error correction circuit 209, the error of extracted data is corrected, and these data are decoded by a CPU 201 and stored in a RAM 202. From the data of teletext broadcasting stored in the RAM 202, a header character code stream and a text character code stream are extracted while using a data-converting means 211, the header of hypertext markup language(HTML) is added to the data and they are read on the browser. Thus, the information of teletext information can be read by the same browser for internet, as for the information of internet. |
