PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive system for pixel data processing by which jaggy or distortion in edges of a text component is eliminated without deteriorating display of a graphics component. SOLUTION: The data pixel processing system 40 has a sharpening filter 44 and a half tone processing unit 44 that connect to an image change detector 42. The image change detector 42 gives part of pixel data streams to the sharpening filter 44 when it is discriminated that an image is rapidly changing. The sharpening filter 44 filters pixel data to eliminate jaggy or distortion in border edges of the image. Then the pixel data are fed to the half tone processing unit 46, where the data are further processed. |
