<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide a coupling which enables an underground pipe to be connected to a joint part, speedily and with light operating physical force and which ensures durability of use for a long time. SOLUTION: This coupling, designed for connecting an underground pipe 2 to a joint part 1 of a hand hole, a manhole and the like, is provided with a first cylindrical member 4 to be connected to the joint part 1, and a second cylindrical member 5 to be fitted and fixed to the outside of the end of the underground pipe 2. Here, it is made possible to insert and fit the second cylindrical member 5 into the first cylindrical member 4. Also, a ring member 7 is provided inside the first cylindrical member 4 or the second cylindrical member 5 for contacting both members, to prevent them from moving in a fit-release direction after the insertion of the cylindrical member 5 into the cylindrical member 4.
