PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To descramble and scramble data of 16 bits width. SOLUTION: A generated polynomial G circuit 114 is based on a determinant by a generated polynomial for generating an eighth-order M series. The determinant is squared to obtain a generated polynomial G<2> circuit 113. Then, 16-bit data is divided into eight bits on a high-order side and a low-order side and they are supplied to one input terminal of each ExOR 115 and 116. A terminal 111a is selected at first and ID in data is extracted. Then, the start point of the M series is designated in the circuits 113 and 114. Then, a terminal 111b is selected and the output of the circuit 113 is fed back. The outputs of the circuits 113 and 114 are supplied to the other terminals of ExOR 115 and 116. In the ExOR 115 and 116, data supplied to one input terminal and the other terminal are exclusively ORed and a descrambling processing for 16 bits is executed. |
