<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of a worker, who handles a control rod for power distribution work by particularly making the attaching work of the control rod to a balance-cupporting device easier and, at the same time, making the initialization of the inclined angle of the control rod easier. SOLUTION: A balance-supporting device 10 has a balance supporting arm 24 to which a control rod 26 for power distribution work is attached in a tiltable state, where the front end section of the rod 36 can be oscillated in the vertical direction. The arm 24 is provided with a balance-generating means, which generates angular momentum corresponding to the angular moment which is applied to the arm 24 due to the load of the rod 36 in the opposite direction. At the front end section of the arm 24, a control rod attaching mount 56, which is composed of a lower mount 62 having a groove for housing the rod 36 and a retaining cover 64 which fixes and retains the rod 36 housed in the mount 62 in the groove, is provided. The cover 64 is single-action attachable with respect to the mount 62 through single-action with a clamping buckle 70.</p> |
