摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate making method which is a plate making method for a computer-to-plate applicable to an ordinary positive type PS plate and an ordinary negative type PS plate formed by using a diazo compd. as well and is capable of stably executing processing in long-term running. SOLUTION: A laser beam of a wavelength 370 to 480 (Nm) is used for an exposure light source and the exposure at a plate surface exposure of >=15 (mJ/cm<2> ) is executed; in addition, at least the area information A (m<2> ) of a non-image part and plate kind information X are stored in a control section included in a scanning aligner. Replenishing of a replenishing liquid for the area replenishing amt. (ml) obtd. by multiplying at least an area replenishing rate Rx (ml/m<2> ) by the area A (m<2> ) of the non-image part is executed in accordance with the information from the scanning exposure device after development of a printing plate carried in from the scanning aligner. The area replenishing rate Rx is defined by the previously determined replenishing amt. (ml) of the replenishing liquid required at the time of subjecting the photosensitive planographic printing plate of the specified plate kind X to 1 (m<2> ) processing (full surfactant developing).
