摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake pad with excellent heat resistance and anticorrosion, by forming iron phosphate film having specified mean thickness by phosphate treatment on the surface of a back board made of iron-based metal, by bonding a frictional material on it through a primer layer made of thermosetting resin. SOLUTION: In order to form this brake pad, a back board which is formed by blanking out a soft steel in a form of a disc brake pad is prepared, and iron phosphate film with mean thickness from 0.2μm to 2μm is formed on the back board. That is, the back board is degreased to remove the blanking oil, blasted after cleaning, soaked into a vat, and stuck with iron phosphate. After drying the back board, it is sprayed and painted with thing formed by diluting liquid phenol resin with alcohol, and is put into a drying furnace, and after it is cooled, a bonding layer is formed on the primer layer. Finally, the back board is arranged in the die of a thermoforming machine, the frictional material is injected into it, the back board is molded to a pad with pressurization and heating and after-hardened to treat non-reacted resin, and the part corresponding to a mist coat and a disc surface is abraded plane.
