PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to correctly read out names with a higher throughput and a higher accuracy by arranging a name-dedicated dictionary and a judgement part and reading out names contained in a Japanese document inputted. SOLUTION: Japanese sentences 1-1 recorded on a recording medium, etc., are inputted by a text editor, etc., and a name judgement part 2-4 judges whether or not names are contained therein. Words or word strings judged as names are combined with information on their readings, accents, etc., contained in the name dictionary 1-6 and passed on to a sentence analysis part 2-1. The sentence analysis part 2-1 reads the Japanese sentence part referring to a basic dictionary 2-1 except the names, transforming the sentence into reading information, and passing it on to a wave generation part 2-2. The wave generation part 2-2 transforms the reading information of the transformed Japanese sentences into speech signals by using speech element pieces 1-3 and outputs them from a loudspeaker 3. Thus, it is possible to accelerate the processing by splitting a dictionary into a general dictionary and a name dictionary and also improve an accuracy of analysis by performing name judgement before sentence analysis. |
