摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the communication terminal to cope with rapid fading fluctuation attended with high speed movement of a mobile station and to follow even processing delay in the case of transmission of control information. SOLUTION: A base station 1A is provided with a transmission power information generating circuit 30 containing at least a means 33 that quantizes a difference between a power level received from a mobile station 2A and an object power level to provide an output of transmission power control information and a scale adaptive means 34 that revises adaptively a quantization scale in response to a series of past transmission power control information. Furthermore, the mobile station 2A is provided with a transmission power control circuit 40 consisting of a scale adaptive means 42 revising adaptively a quantization scale depending on the series of transmission power information from the base station 1A, of an inverse quantization means 41 applying inverse quantization to a quantized transmission power code, of a means 46 that converts inversely quantized difference signal into fading information and obtains an estimate of a Doppler frequency based on the information series, and of a means 47 that converts the estimate value into a prediction coefficient.</p>
