PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developing device constituted so that the rotary shafts of two adjacent screws are arranged by being decentered and a developer mixing and stirring part can be made compact without causing the lock of developer and lowering the carrying ability of the developer. SOLUTION: A partition plate is not arranged between the first and the second screws and the rotary shafts 120a and 121a of the respective screws are arranged at a decentered position with respect to spiral blades 120b and 121b. Besides, the rotation of the shafts 120a and 121a is controlled so that the long diameter (l) of one spiral blade is positioned by facing the short diameter (s) of the other spiral blade on a horizontal surface (c) including the rotary shafts and one spiral blade enters the other spiral blade by the rotation of the shafts 120a and 121a. Thus, the developer in a space between the first and the second screws is vibrated back and forth in the shaft-line directions of the rotary shafts. |
