PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic resin thrust bearing to prevent entrance of dust to a slide surface through a labyrinth on the inner peripheral side, and maintain a smooth steering force during steering operation without lowering slide characteristics due to entrance of dust. SOLUTION: A synthetic resin thrust bearing 1 comprises a lower case 2 made of synthetic resin; an upper case 3 made of synthetic resin rotatably combined with the lower case 2; and an annular bearing body 5 made of synthetic resin arranged in an annular space 4 between the upper and lower cases 2 and 3. Each of the outer peripheral side and the inner peripheral side of the annular space 4 is sealed from the outside by the labylinthes 6 and 7 formed between the upper and lower cases 3 and 2. The labyrinth 7 on the inner peripheral side has a passage 52 and a passage 54, and extends to an opening end 55 to an external part, and seals the annular space 4 by the labyrinth operation. |
