PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded type dimmer, which does not require an exclusive fitting frame. SOLUTION: A case 1 is made by combining a body 10 and a cover 20. The case 1 is fitted to a fitting frame 110 for embedded type wiring accessories fixed to an execution surface, and a rear end part of the case 1 is mounted in the way it is A embedded in the execution surface. A locking nail 25 to engage with a holding groove formed in the fitting frame 110 is projected in a side of the case 1. The case 1 is made to have a size equivalent to a size for 2 pieces of wiring accessories with an unit dimension which is set so that up to maximum 3 pieces can be fitted to the fitting frame 110. A heat radiating plate 40 is attached to a TRIAC Q1 contained in the case 1. A slit for heat radiation is formed on a rear surface of the body 10. An operating knob 60 to vary a resistance value of a volume VR is exposed on a front surface of the cover 20.
