PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the rewriting of a control program based on data for rewriting including control program data with respect to a different equipment kind by executing rewriting only when equipment kind information written in the header part of data for rewriting in matched with equipment kind information of the system equipment. SOLUTION: Equipment kind information A is read out (1) from a pertinent facsimile equipment and equipment kind information B is read out (2) from the header part of data for rewriting housed in EPROM mounted to a board for rewriting. Then whether both equipment kind information A and B are equal to or different from each other is discriminated (3). When both equipment kind information A and B are judged to be different from each other, the effect is print-outputted (4) but the rewriting of the control program based on data for rewriting is not executed. When both equipment kind information A and B are judged to be equal to each other, the rewriting of the control program, based on data for rewriting is executed (5). |
