PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated document management system capable of quickly obtaining a necessary document without allowing a user to be conscious of the form of the document, reducing document manager's load and disusing many unnecessary stored documents. SOLUTION: A server 1 receives a document retrieving request from a client 2a, displays a document name matched with a condition on a display part 21 in the client 2a, and when the displayed document is the document concerned, acquires a document form stored in a common document information management table 18. When the document form is a paper document, the original management information of the paper document such as a storing position, a reference and information related to lending which are stored in a paper document information management table 19 is extracted and displayed on the display part 21a of the client 2a, and when the document form is an electronic document, the electronic document itself is displayed on the display part 21a. The disuse scheduled date of each document is stored in the table 18 and the document is disused based on the scheduled date. |
