摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pad from being partially abraded or early abraded by providing gradient slanting in the radial outside direction on butted end faces, when both cylinders are joined together on the rotor side from the center position in the radial direction on the butted end faces where first and second cylinders of an opposed type disc brake caliper are joined together. SOLUTION: By movement of respective pistons arranged in cylinders 3a, 3b oppositely arranged, a rotor integrated with wheels is pressed from both sides by pads arranged on the respective pistons so as to provide braking force. When the cylinders 3a, 3b are joined together by bolts on the rotor side from the center position of butted end faces 2a, 2b joining together the cylinders 3a, 3b of such opposed type disc brake caliper 1, against a line crossing at right angle with the cylinder bore axis 9, gradientθslanting in the radial outside direction is provided on butted end faces 2a, 2b. Hereby after joining together the cylinders 3a, 3b, arrangement of the pads is made in parallel with the rotor, and hence the pads are prevented from being partially abraded or early abraded.
