PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide manufacture of a packing for a secondary battery which uses fluoroplastic as a material, but can use that of a small melt flow index and a high grade characteristic, which also holds a waste of the expensive fluoroplastic at a minimum, has good productivity, is hard to generate burrs, further has reliable quality too. SOLUTION: This manufacture consists of process A in which a material molded piece (1) which substantially has the same volume as the die cavity volume after compression and is made of fluoroplastic is supplied into the die, process B in which the material molded piece (1) is heated to higher than its softening point within the die or before its supplying into the die, and is softened, also it is applied pressure within the die and is deformed to a softened solid molded piece (2) of a three-dimensional shape along the die cavity, and process C in which the softened solid molded piece (2) is cooled to the softening point with the pressurized condition to be maintained, and is formed as an aimed molded piece (3), then is taken out from the die. |
