PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document feeder enabling an operator to easily discriminate a document related to trouble such as the jamming of transfer paper and jam. SOLUTION: When the document is fed by a document feeding means 34 and the trouble of the transfer paper is caused, the document having an image surface where an image transferred to either surface of the transfer paper is recorded and the document detected by the means 32 at the time nearest to the time when the trouble is caused from the time when the first document is detected by the means 34 till the time when the trouble is caused out of the documents detected by the means 32 from the time when the first document is detected by the means 32 till the time when the trouble is caused are ejected to a specified ejected document placing table 37 by a forcible ejection means 35. Then, the document ejected by the means 35 and the placing table 37 are displayed to a reset document display means 36. |
