PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developer stored at the upper part of the developer replenishment port of a developer container from getting over a screen member caused by the inertia force thereof lay the action of the screen member formed at the edge part of the developer replenishment port of the developer container. SOLUTION: The tip part of the screen member 614Y is formed so as to be curved in the circumferential direction of a developing unit on the upstream side of the rotating direction thereof not in a direction being vertical to the inertia force of toner housed in a toner cartridge 611Y generated when the developing unit is rotated. Thus, since the actuating direction of the inertia force of the toner stored at the upper part of the toner replenishment port 613Y of the cartridge 611Y is deflected to the port 613Y side of the cartridge 611Y at the curved part of the screen member 614Y, the developer is prevented from getting over the screen member 614Y. |
