PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to form color filters having excellent characteristics, such as precision characteristic and color characteristic, by utilizing a thermal transfer method by incorporating an acrylic resin as a binder resin into a transfer layer. SOLUTION: The acrylic resin expressed by formula is incorporated as the binder resin into the transfer layer of a donor film for color filters including a supporting layer, a light absorption layer and the transfer layer. In the formula, R1 is hydrogen or methyl group; R2 is 1-12C alkyl group, 2 to 10C hydroxylalkyl group, substd. or unsubstd. arom. cyclic group, 5-10C cycloalkyl group or benzyl group; R3 is 5-10C alkyl group, substd. or unsubstd. arom. cyclic group, 5-10C cycloalkyl group or benzyl group; X is a vinyl group, epoxy group or hydrogen atom and 0.1<=a<=0.65, 0.3<=b<=0.8, 0<=c<=0.2 (where (a) to (c) are molar fractions and a+b+c=1). |
