PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system of wavelength multiplex soliton signals, capable of long distance transmission without utilizing active passing by almost synchronizing the bit time of multiplex various channels at least one point and disposing a saturable absorbent at the point. SOLUTION: Various wavelengths of multiplex channels are selected so as to secure a relative slip among the various channels equal almost to the integral multiple of the bit time with a given interval ZR. Then, the saturable absorbent 6i separated for the distance of the integral multiple of the interval ZR is provided. Various signals, when the various soliton signals reach the saturable absorbent 6i, are respectively provided with relative time deviation for jitters affecting various soliton pulses and a margin related to the restriction of the synchronism of the various channels and do not accurately and simultaneously reach the saturable absorbent 6i. Thus, by the saturable absorbent 6i, the soliton signals of the various channels can be reproduced simultaneously. |
