PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode joining method for a plasma display panel capable of ensuring reliability to flow a high current, and also dealing with a narrow pitch in an electrode part for the high fineness of the panel, in mounting a flexible base plate on the plasma display panel. SOLUTION: An adhesive sheet 3, wherein conductive particles 4 are dispersed, is crimped to a thick film electrode 2 formed on a plasma display panel 1, and an electrode 6 on a flexible base plate 5 is overlapped on the electrode 2 on a glass base plate 1 via the sheet 3 to be heated and pressurized by a crimping tool 7 from the upper part of the base plate 5 to harden the sheet 3, thereby conducting the electrode 2 on the glass base plate 1 and the electrode 6 on the base plate 5. Consequently, reliable joining quality can be obtained wherein the proper connection, between the electrode 2 on the base plate 1 and the electrode 6 on the base plate 5, can be ensured, and a high current also a narrow pitch in the electrode can be dealt with. |
