PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the height of a vibrator without lowering the sensitivity to make the gyroscope in a compact size by constructing a pair of driving arms and a pair of detecting arms not to be parallel. SOLUTION: Detecting arms 5, 6 are constructed not to be parallel to driving arms 3, 4 formed in parallel to each other. That is, the space between the detecting arms 5, 6 is increased symmetrically from the base part 5 to open ends, both open ends of the detecting arms 5, 6 are opened so that the detecting arms 5, 6 are like an open angle shape from the base part 2. Further, for example, the detecting arm 5 has an angle of 120 to the driving arm 3, and the detecting arm 6 has an angle of 120 to the driving arm 4. The driving arms 3, 4 and the detecting arms 5, 6 are not parallel. Thus, as compared with the case where the detecting arms 5, 6 and the driving arms 3, 4 are formed to parallel, the height of the device can be reduced for the opening of an open angle shape. |
