PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store and utilize only necessary information by making it unnecessary for a user to select a necessary part in each requirment and execute processing such as the copying/sticking of the selected part by manual operation. SOLUTION: The hypertext display/edition device is provided with a pattern definition means 7 for defining a pattern corresponding to an electronic(E) mail address and a name, a development method instructing means 8 for instructing a development method at the time of developing the pattern defined by the means 7 and a development method interpreting means 9 for interpreting the development method instructed by the means 8 and developing data and constituted so as to extract and shape the correspondence between the E mail address and the name especially out of the contents of a linked page at the time of tracing the link of a hypertext. A means for describing the development method on an optional position of a document being edited is prepared as the means 8 so as to insert the description of the development method specified by a user into the optional position of the document being edited. |
