PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an excess current generated by the reverse driving of a brushless DC motor, and realize the size reduction and cost reduction of a driver. SOLUTION: A current limit control circuit 13, having the rotation direction detection circuit 9 of a brushless DC motor 3, is provided. The current limit control circuit 13 receives a rotation direction signal (c), a rotation direction detection signal (f) from the rotation direction detection circuit 9 and a revolution signal (g) from a revolution detecting means 12, detects the reverse driving of the brushless DC motor 3, generates a current-limiting switching signal (p), and switches a reference signal j2 by which a maximum current applied to the brushless DC motor 3 is limited to a reference signal j3, by which the maximum current is limited to be smaller further. |
