PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared-ray communication equipment applicable for a notebook-sized personal computer and capable of easily adjusting the communicating direction of the equipment. SOLUTION: A rotary case 14 is provided in a spherical surface base 11 which is provided in the mainbody part 2 of the notebood-sized personal computer so as to be rotatable and movable along a spherical surface, it is restrained by a restraining ring 15 and also a light emitting element 20 and a light receiving element 21 for exchanging infrared-rays are internally mounted and fixed to the rotary case 14. The rotary case 14 is rotated and moved so that the infrared-ray light emitting element 20 and the light receiving element 21 are integratedly moved. The, their optical axes are changed, the direction of infrared-ray communication is adjusted in an optical direction and a structure is simplified, the facilitation of direction adjustment is realized and application to the small and thin notebook-type personal computer is enabled. |
