<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable service to reserve a band for effective use of the entire band by turning a queue, for which a weight set value has been set to zero to the selection object of rotation priority selection control as well, when a cell is not stored in the other queues for which the weight set value is not zero. SOLUTION: An input cell 11 is tentatively stored in one of the queues 1-3, corresponding to the service class of the cell in order to perform traffic control in the post sage of the queues 1-3. The cells stored in the queues 1-3 are read, corresponding to a read request issued by weight counters 4-6 and a priority order traffic-controlled, by a rotation priority selection control circuit 10. That is, in the case that a class for reserving the band is congested more than the entire band, even a best effort service, for which the weight set values 7-9 of WRR are set to zero passes through the cell by using the remaining band, in the case that the class which reserves the band is not using the entire band. Thus, the utilization efficiency of the band is improved.</p> |
