PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for developing capable of obtaining an image of high quality, without driving unevenness and the jitters. SOLUTION: The driving device for developing is provided with power transmission parts for transmitting driving power to plural developing devices arranged on the circumference of a latent image carrier, to enable contact/ uncontact in developing and nondeveloping states respectively. The power transmission parts consist of fixed driving pulleys, movable tension pulleys 55 and coupling pulleys 56 coupled to the plural developing devices 7B, 7Y, 7M and 7C through spline couplings respectively and transmit the driving power from a developing motor 38 through timing belts 57, linked with the respective movements of the plural developing devices 7B, 7Y, 7M and 7C. |
