<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a CDMA(code division multiple access) synchronization acquisition circuit to shorten the processing time for maximum peak position detection processing. SOLUTION: A correlation device 24 uses a small amount of reception data for correlation value peak position detection processing with respect to a predetermined search range for conducting correlation calculation, thereby obtaining a higher-order tentative peak position with high correlation. A correlation device 29 obtains a remaining correlation value with priority from a tentative peak position based on remaining reception data, adds outputs of two correlation devices to finally obtain a peak value from the correlation level. Thus, the arithmetic amount is reduced.</p> |
