<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase flexibility, anti-coolant permeability and a vibration and sound absorbing characteristics by forming a inner pipe of a rubber composition using isobutylene/p-methylstyrene copolymer as a main component in a coolant transporting hose having an outer pipe in the outside of the inner pipe by interpolating a reinforcing layer. SOLUTION: An HFC 134a coolant transport hose used for the air conditioner of an automobile has at least three layers including an inner layer contacted with the coolant HFC 134a and an outer pipe arranged in its outside by interpolating a reinforcing layer. Herein, the inner pipe is made of a rubber composition using as a main component an isobutylene/p-methylstyrene copolymer made by converting a part or all of the p-methylstyrene unit. On the other hand, no particular limitation is placed as long as the outer pipe is made of a rubber composition to be vulcanized under the same condition for the rubber composition of the inner pipe, but for improving the anti-water permeability of the hose, preferably a rubber composition includes ethylene/propylene-based copolymer as a rubber component.</p> |
