PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate output pressure which is generated due to flowing of residual gas in an intake duct into an internal combustion engine, and control fluid pressure which is supplied to a pulley of continuously variable transmission to an appropriate value, by maintaining output from the internal combustion engine at a value just before foot separation operation of an accelerator pedal for a given period after the operation. SOLUTION: During driving of a vehicle, a transmission controlling unit 300 calculates input torque into an continuously variable transmission 29 by multiplying engine torque by torque ratio, and sets standard line pressure according to the value. The standard line pressure is set as a target line pressure, and a line pressure controlling signal is output. When a previous value of throttle aperture is larger than a given full open value, and present value is less than a given full close value, foot separation operation of an accelerator pedal is judged to be performed, and a previous value of engine torque is replaced by a present value. In an arithmetic process, just previous engine torque is maintained for a given period, that is period corresponding to a given maximum value of a controlling counter, and belt slipping or others are restrained. |
