摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To foc details of an object more minutely by providing a specified pixel area in a sensor train by a focus detection circuit and classifying the sensor train constituting a light, receiving area to plural groups with reference to the position of the pixel area. SOLUTION: The light receiving areas 202 and 203 are constituted by combining three types of sensor train types A to C. Each sensor train has the fixed pixel area (shown by hatching) constituted of plural adjacent pixels whose storage time is controlled to be identical by the focus detection circuit. Three pixel areas are allotted to the sensor train type A and two pixel areas are allotted to the sensor train types B and C. The storage time is controlled independently in every pixel area in accordance with the intensity of light made incident on the pixel area through the focus detection optical system, and an image signal at an appropriate level is obtained. Thus, focus detection visual field in a stagger or grating state with high detection accuracy is realized by simple sensor constitution while allowing the distortion aberration of the focus detection optical system.
