PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor which is small in size, high in performance, and manufactured at a low cost by a method, wherein a base is formed of low dielectric high-molecular material which is obtained by polymerizing monomeric composition that contains monomeric fumarate, and a coil conductor and terminals are formed of a conductive film. SOLUTION: An inductor is composed of a base, a coil conductor, and terminals. The base is formed of a low dielectric high-molecular material, which is obtained by polymerizing monomeric composition that contains monomeric fumarate. The base is formed as a square pillar, so as to be high in mounting stability. A conductor provided to the base is formed of metal whose main component is copper or silver. At this point, a conductor film is set as thick as 0.5 to 100μm. The coil conductor is formed using both an electroless plating method and an electroplating method at the same time.
