PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power consumption by feeding power only to one copying machine immediately after work the start and feeding the power to the other copying machines after a state (ready state) capable of copying is attained. SOLUTION: Digital copying machine main bodies 1-a and 1-b are installed on a first floor, the digital copying machine main bodies 1-c and 1-d are installed on a second floor and a controller (personal computer) 2 for performing communication with the digital copying machines and control is installed at one place. The number of machines to install is not limited, the machines are increased in a larger place and reduced in a small place. In the state, the power of the other copying machines is fed by copy possible signals from one copying machine. For instance, for the two digital copying machines installed on the same floor, only one copying machine is supplied with the power immediately after the work start time, the power of the other copying machine is fed after the ready state is attained and warm-up is started. Thus, a warm-up state is not overlapped. |
