PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable speaking without caring of speaking time and to use a portable telephone set without worrying about a time a power source turns off. SOLUTION: A measuring part 2 measures the voltage of a battery 1 in a predetermined cycle and outputs it as the remaining capacitance measured result 10. A memory 3 stores this result. A display control part 5 receives a remaining capacitance display request 11 of the battery from an input part 7 and outputs a remaining capacitance level calculation request 13. An arithmetic part 4 receives this request, finds the level of the remaining capacitance and the percentage of the remaining battery capacitance and outputs them. The display control part 5 displays these remaining capacitance level and percentage on a display part 6. Besides, when a communication enable time display request 12 is received from the input part 7, the display control part 5 outputs a communication enable time calculation request 14. When this request is received, the arithmetic part 4 finds wait enable time and continuous speaking enable time and outputs these results to the display control part 5. The display control part 5 displays these results on the display part 6. |
