PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a searching system capable of specifying the position of the side to be searched such as a wandering old person (a person to be searched) by the searching side. SOLUTION: A person 2 to be a searched object having possibility to become an object to be searched is allowed to have a portable telephone 4 and a GPS receiving device 5 generating a signal indicating the position of the objective person 2 according to the call of a telephone 1 from a searching base 3, the objective person 2 to be searched on an unspecified position away from the searching base 3 is called by the telephone 1 of the searching base 3, and according to this call signal C, the measured position signal B from the GPS receiving device 5 of the objective person 2 to be searched is automatically sent from the transmitter 13 of the portable telephone 4 of the object 2 to the receiver 9 of the telephone 1 of the searching base 3 in a form of a positional signal F. Together with this, in the searching base 3, based on the positional signal F received by a receiver 9, the position of the objective person 2 to be searched is displayed on the map indicated on a display 24. |
