PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent both circuit sections from being interferred by a high-frequency signal or the like with respect to the composite radio portable terminal equipment that is provided with a radio portable terminal circuit section having a function of making radio communication data, such as voice data and character data and with a pager circuit section receiving a selective calling signal as a radio signal. SOLUTION: A portable terminal unit provided with a radio portable terminal circuit section 2 and a pager unit provided with a pager circuit section 3 are configured separately, and the composite radio portable terminal equipment is configured as a structure connecting the units disconnectably. Furthermore, an antenna 13 which is a detection means and a noise detection section 14 detect a signal generated from the radio portable terminal circuit section 2, and when the strength of the signal detected by the detection means exceeds a set threshold level, the control section 15 which is a power supply control means and a switch 12 interrupt the supply of power from the power supply 11 to the radio portable terminal circuit section 2. Furthermore, the detection antenna 13 of the detection means is provided to the pager unit.
