<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert address information of plural kinds of protocols into address information for an arbitrary protocol. SOLUTION: A table retrieval section 101 retrieves address conversion tables 102, 103 based on a protocol type and informs address information and the protocol type to the tables. In each table address information by other protocol type based on the address information is read and informs address information from the tables to the table retrieval section 102 is reported, when the requested address information cannot be read. Then the address information read is used for the address information prior to conversion, and an address conversion request is made to other address conversion table. A terminal 20 is provided with a protocol section 22 that supports a communication protocol with a network device 10, and an identification section 24 to identify the protocol of the communication opposite party and makes the request for an opposite address to an address conversion section 11.</p> |
