The bucket container (1) has a rod (2) fixed across the open top so that it cuts the orthogonal diameter at one third of it's length. A measuring spoon may then be filled with powder and levelled off by scraping it against the rod (2). A plate which is inclined towards the base of the container may be used instead of the rod.
